The upcoming sports comedy film also stars Kim Jong Soo, Jung Seung Gil, Ko Chang Seok, Lee Hyun Woo and more.
South Korean sports comedy film Dream, starring Park Seo Joon and IU, will officially premiere on April 26.
According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, Dream tells the story of a group of people playing soccer for the first time for the Homeless World Cup. Park Seo Joon stars as professional soccer player Yoon Hong Dae who is on disciplinary probation who becomes the coach of the ragtag soccer team, while IU plays producing director Lee So Min who is making a documentary about the team.
The upcoming sports drama, which is created by director Lee Byung Hun, has also released a new teaser trailer introducing its characters. The makers also launched the first poster on March 14 which shows a soccer ball surrounded by the team’s feet suggesting the team’s bright spirit.
The new teaser titled ‘Dream Team Lineup Announcement’ introduces the film’s characters including Hwan Dong (Kim Jong Soo), Hyo Bong (Go Chang Suk), Bum Soo (Jung Seung Gil), In Sun (Lee Hyun Woo), Moon Soo (Yang Hyun Min), Young Jin (Hong Wan Pyo), and In Guk (Heo Joon Suk). Kang Ha Neul is also set to make a cameo in an unspecified role.
Directed and written by Lee Byeong Heon, Dream is all set to hit the theaters on April 26. Watch the teaser video below!
