Ram Charan opened up about a way through which he keeps connected to India.
SS Rajamouli’s epic adventure film RRR is trending not only in India but the world because of its Oscar triumph earlier this week. For those not in the know, the movie won the Best Original Song award for ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the 95th Academy Awards. Hence, along with the film’s music composer MM Keeravani, the whole team of RRR is on cloud nine, including the two leading men Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
Ram Charan has always been particular about dressing in an Indian way and he continued the same even at the Oscars night. Now, the actor has also revealed that he takes the spirit of India with him whenever he goes abroad in a unique way.
While speaking to Vanity Fair, Ram said that he and his wife Upasana always setup a temple at the place where they stay abroad. “Wherever I go, usually my wife and I set up this temple, this ritual; it just keeps us connected to our energies and India, and it is very important for all of us to when we being out day, thanking and showing gratitude to everything and every person who has helped us be here. Not too much, but it’s just a few moments and we hit the road,” he told the publication.
Coming back to Ram’s attire, it was designed by Shantanu and Nikhil. “It’s come out great and I’m feeling like I’m wearing India,” added Ram about his attire. “It’s detailed beautifully with everything. It’s weighing down a little bit because India’s pride is also on our shoulders and it is a little heavy. But literally thank you Nikhil, you’ve done a great job. Here you have a Bharat coin which is imposed with the Bharat symbol.”
